SUMIF vs SUMIFS

Both SUMIF and SUMIFS are very useful functions in Excel that are used to find the sum of a dataset based on related criteria within the same set of data. The criteria is usually based on dates, numbers, and text. The difference between the two functions is that the 'SUMIF' function allows for imposing a single criteria on data while the 'SUMIFS' function allows for imposing multiple criteria.
