CONCATENATE Function

In Excel, the CONCATENATE function is used to conjoin two or more text strings into one. In certain versions of the program, the CONCATENATE function has been shortened, with the alternate function name of CONCAT being used instead. The CONCATENATE function is one of Excel’s text functions, meaning that it has to do with the formatting and structuring of lines of text within an Excel file.
